Maggie's Cut Out Cookie Recipe

It’s holiday cookie season! I’m sure many of you will be making cut-out cookies this year with your family, and I wanted to share one of my favorite sugar cookie recipes that I use for cut-outs! -Maggie Ingredients:  2 3/4 cups Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 cup Butter soft 1 Egg 1 teaspoon Vanilla 1 1/2 cups Sugar Directions:  1. Apple Crisp

While apples are still plentiful, I couldn’t resist sharing another one of my favorite recipes for the season. -Maggie   APPLE CRISP PREP TIME: 20 minutes       COOK TIME:  30 minutes      SERVES 10-12 INGREDIENTS 1 dozen apples 1 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup butter  1 tablespoon butter DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use the one tablespoon of butter to coat a 9x7 oven proof dish. Peel and slice apples and place in buttered dish Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.  We are very fortunate here in New York State to have an abundance of delicious apples this time of year. Which means we can make a variety of pies, tarts and cookies that make us feel all warm and cozy. One of my all time favorites is an apple cinnamon cookie.
