During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, many of us forget that for some families, the holiday season can be one of the hardest times of the year.That’s why we’re partnering with Child & Family Services to collect personal items in our Help for Haven House collection.This is our second year collecting for the domestic violence shelter,  after all of you helped us gather more than one thousand dollars worth of supplies for those in need!Starting Black Friday, November 25 through December 24, donate body wash, infant formula, baby wipes, women's underwear and other basic essentials at the shop. Sponge Candy Season Resumes on Monday!

Despite a late start due to hot and humid weather, sponge candy returns to the shelves Monday! We've been working long hours to battle the mugginess, and get sponge candy ready for opening day on September 12. This is the second year we’ve dealt with unfavorable weather for the candy-making process. Moisture in the air makes it difficult to get the sponge to a light and crisp consistency. Every October, Western New York and the nation takes a moment to reflect and do what they can in the fight against breast cancer.So many have lost a loved one or watched a loved one struggle with cancer, including many of us here at the shop.
